1) Why you would be a great tutor?
I believe I would be an excellent tutor as nothing is more rewarding for me than being able to help others reach their highest potential. I am very committed and dedicated to my students and am willing to push them to reach this, which I feel is more than possible with dedication and perseverance. I can project and instil positivity into students, a quality that any effective tutor must have. A positive attitude is an important attribute people need to become successful in life. I hope that my positive attitude will reflect onto my students, and help them to become successful in their lives. I understand that different children will have different learning styles. Using my creativity, I can come up with different learning methods to suit each child best.

2) Details of relevant work experience
While in 6th form I tutored maths to year 8 students. I volunteered as a tutor in Malaysia teaching Maths, Science and English to children living in the Young Women's Christian Association care home for two months. This was an enriching experience and made me realise the value of hard work. At university I volunteered for Ashton Learning Centre, tutoring GCSE Maths to students with learning difficulties. This experience showed that I have the patience and discipline required of a tutor.

3) Details on your educational background
I achieved 9 GCSEs, including A* in Maths, B in English language and literature and double A in Science. I continued to study Maths and Science at A Level, achieving A for Maths and Bs for Biology and Chemistry. I also studied Art up to AS Level. Having worked hard during my GCSEs and A- Levels, I earned an unconditional offer to study at the University of Bristol, where I have recently completed an undergraduate degree in Economics.

4) Hobbies and interest and personal ambitions
I see myself as a well-rounded person with interests in various subject matters. I have a passion for anything creative. I have a great interest in watching cookery programmes and like to incorporate these ideas into my own cooking and baking. I also enjoy keeping fit through swimming, running and recreational games of basketball with friends. I love to dance for leisure as well as a means of exercise. I immensely enjoy outdoor activities particularly quad biking and archery. My personal ambition is to constantly develop and improve myself as a person as I feel there is always room for improvement in most, if not all, aspects of life. I aspire to be the best version of myself which I believe can be achieved with the right balance of hard work, hard play and, most importantly, faith. I hope to pass these attributes on to my students.
