1) Why you would be a great tutor?
I am a first year engineering student of University of Aberdeen, who is passionate to teach children physical sciences, such as Maths, Physics and Chemistry. I believe that only hard work and dedication of the tutee can contribute to his greater understanding and performance in the subject. As a result, this would significantly help him in the exam situation, because while being nervous, person can forget something despite the fact that the student knows the topic very well. Furthermore, if tutee do not grasp the idea of any topic (sometimes happens), I always try to explain in a simpler way, giving some examples from real life. In this way, pupil better understands things. Also, I am patient, positive and open-minded person, who treats his tutee as a friend rather than a pupil, because this makes it easier for student to study.

2) Details of relevant work experience
I worked as a tutor for three months, teaching children, mainly from primary school, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics. As a result, the performance of the children in the subjects mentioned above has significantly improved. Their results have increased from C to B+ for 3 months of dedicated study and hard work. However, there was one child, who was pretty good in Mathematics, but he was extremely struggling with solving tasks. The main problem was in the understanding of the task itself. Consequently, I suggested him to draw simple schemes in order to realize the main idea of the task.

3) Details on your educational background
I am studying BEng Petroleum Engineering in University of Aberdeen. Also, I graduated with an average grade of 5 out of 5 from Tallinna Tonismae Realkool (Tallinn Tonismae School of Sciences).
My results in exams are following:
- Chemistry – 91% out of 100%
- Physics – 96% out of 100%
- Mathematics – 92% out of 100%
In addition, I participated in Estonian nationwide Olympiads in Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics, where I took 25th , 28th and 30th places, respectively.

4) Hobbies and interest and personal ambitions
I am keen on playing many different kinds of sports, especially team sports. I played volleyball in school team for the last three years. As a consequence, we took 1st Volleyball Championship in three consecutive years. In addition, I have been playing football for ten years in a Professional Junior football team, where I took first place in in Estonian U-15 Football Championships five years ago. Apart from that, I presented my school in a various kinds of sports, such as swimming, athletics and floorball. What is more, I would like to become a great petroleum engineer, who will change our oil and gas industry forever. Without engineers, doctors will not be capable to diagnose many diseases, which were hard to notice a century ago. Besides that, our everyday life would much more difficult without complicated devices, invented by many engineers.
